Our Story

Started in 1999, Still Family-Run

Valerie Wrobel founded Carolina Properties in 1999 with a simple idea: take care of the property, take care of the guest, and the rest follows. More than two decades later, the business is still family-run and still based right here in Lake Lure. We serve Rutherford, Polk, and the surrounding North Carolina counties, managing vacation rentals and providing full real estate services. Over 5,000 guest reviews and counting.
