Symphony House

There were 4 adults and 3 children under the age of 10 in our group and every single one of us loved this cabin. The view was great. We didn’t realize until the next morning that we could actually see chimney rock from the deck. The home was clean, with lots of unique touches of repurposed items throughout. It was nice having the master suite on the first floor with two bedrooms downstairs for parents and kids. Going down/up the steep driveway might be a challenge for someone w/o four-wheel-drive. We located a utility road that came in behind the house and that is where we parked. It was much more convenient. Especially if you have more than two vehicles in your party. We had all the amenities we needed and if we discovered we didn’t have something, the grocery store was only 10 minutes away. Lots of great restaurants just a short drive away but the well-stocked kitchen provides the opportunity for eating in. The Wi-fi seemed to go in /out but we followed the instructions to get back on and it was fine after that. I had a question about trash and the property got back to me quickly. There ARE bears around. One tried to get in our vehicle but the alarm went off and all it left behind were muddy prints. We would definitely stay here again.

Great views, great location, great interior with lots of interesting decor. Clean and well-kept. Highly recommend!

The cabin was nicely decorated and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need. The furnishings and decor were well thought out and put together. It all felt like an inviting home away from home! There are amazing views of Chimney rock out of every back window. The back deck is very spacious with plenty of seating to enjoy the serene atmosphere. An Ingles grocery store is only a few miles away and had everything we needed, along with a nice gas station. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and already miss being there!
